Fun Things to Do in Sin City Besides Gambling

Sin City is a fun town, especially if you are into wagering a few dollars here and there. However, there are plenty of people who head to the desert every year who would rather spend their money on something with a bit more of a guaranteed return. The good news is, there are still plenty of ways to have a great time, even if you are not a gambler. The town is chock-full of entertainment, luxury, dining and activities so there is something to suit everyone’s taste. This is good news if someone you love enjoys gambling, but you are not that into it. You will still be able to find plenty of things to do to pass the time while on vacation. Start by planning a way to stay out of trouble. While Sin City is not much on family entertainment, there are still a few things for kids to do. However, you are more likely to avoid needing a child custody attorney or custody attorney of any kind if you live the kids behind.

One of the most appealing aspects of Sin City is the ability to relax and enjoy luxuries you would not bother with at home. Most of the hotels along the strip have spa facilities and many of them are very affordable. You can book treatments like massages and facials, or you can just use the facilities for free without scheduling an appointment or paying for a service. The spas often feature fitness centers, water therapies, steam rooms and saunas, or you can just relax poolside. Some hotels even offer poolside massages. Before booking your hotel room, research their spa and determine what services are available for your personal vacation budget.

If you are not interested in spa treatments, or following a service at a spa, you can indulge in some world- class shopping. There are few areas that are as jam-packed with high-end stores as Sin City. While you may not be able to afford to shop in every store, there are few places that are better to window shop. Many of the hotels are connected to their own shopping areas and you can walk for miles past stores and shops without ever stepping outside. Among the high-end designer merchandise are a few well-known, affordable stores, so plan to spend some time enjoying retail therapy while in town.

At the end of a long day of gambling and shopping, most couples and friends will want to enjoy a good meal. There is no better place on earth to do so than in Sin City. The area has more celebrity chef-owned and fine dining restaurants than anywhere in the world. You can stay in town for weeks and never repeat a restaurant or cuisine. Check out the restaurants in your hotel because you may be entitled to special discounts.

Finally, catch a show while in town. There are plenty of entertainment options ranging from raunchy comedy to top-notch productions that are almost science-fiction in their production. Again, you may find discount opportunities if you choose to see the show at your hotel, so check into what is available before heading to the desert.
