History of Labor Day and How it is Celebrated

There are many holidays in commemoration of different events and they are celebrated at specific dates throughout the year. The latter on the other hand who was the secretary of the International Association of Machinists suggested the holiday in the Central Labor Union in New York. This celebration started as a community holiday but then it spread along other states until it was recognized nationwide.

There are different instances on how this day is commemorated. But usually, it starts with a picnic and ends with a fireworks display. If you want to join the celebration in your local community and bring your family along, try to learn about the schedule of the parade. You can dress up wearing silly hats on your head.
