Bright primary colors can be attractive to babies, however overwhelming when used on large areas. For this, use subtle, calm colors to create a cozy feeling to the room. You may consider warm colors like peach, primrose, vivid avocado green, pale orange and the like. If you want to make the room look spacious, use cool colors like aqua, mint or sky blue. However, it would be more ideal to use these colors basing them on a warm sunny aspect – if this is the theme you want.
Look for baby nursery décor or even attractive baby accessories that you can hang on walls, door, and ceiling of your baby's room. You may like to consider big cheerful posters, framed portraits of animals; planets; or flowers, baby picture frames, other attractive and entertaining décor that you can hang on the ceiling, which your child can easily see when on the bed. A big box full of stuffed animals and other plush toys makes a playful look in the room.
