It's a misunderstood position on the high school football field What exactly does the strong safety do

Every sport has certain rites of passage and that's part of makes high school football such an indelible part of young football players high school memories One of these rites may go by different names in our pc obsessed times but the result is the same to the poor football player just coming off the easy days of summer

In most high schools, you have those kids that if ti weren't for football practice eating up their time, they would be blowing things up or jumping from rooftops into the neighbor's pool They're a little bit crazy and they usually have that wild gleam in their eyes when you look directly at them (which you try not to do because it's uncomfortable)

With most positions on a typical prep football field, your opponent may change from play to play Not true for the high school cornerback

We just wrapped up our season of YMCA youth basketball Another succesfull season under the belt and by successful, we mean that the kids had fun and maybe learned a little about the great game of basketball
